Fireball repurposes a vacant warehouse into the headquarters of a Philadelphia-based print shop. This retrofit centers around a ‘printing floor’ where large-format printers and binding equipment have taken the place of 1940’s shop machinery. Wood rafters and existing masonry are highlighted on a second floor loft as the backdrop for meeting rooms and co-working spaces. The design team reimagined the tired exterior by prioritizing cost effective upgrades to create an impactful street presence.
