The project proposes to reinvigorate a century-old, Wissahickon Schist clad colonial revival into a mixed-use, all-electric development with 19 residential units and 1 commercial tenant. A 5-story ground-up addition on the L-shaped site faces a secondary street to create a separate entrance for the apartment dwellers. The design synthesizes the extravagant forms and patterns of the surrounding Victorian architecture into an afterimage of the neighboring context.
